Carpet installation
Subfloor & prep work
LVT / plank

Entry-Level Floor Layer / Flooring Installer Trainee

Floor It BC is looking for a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Floor Layer / Installer Trainee to join our growing team in Campbell River.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in learning a skilled trade within the flooring and construction industry. No formal flooring experience is required — we are willing to train the right person.

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

What You’ll Do

Assist with residential and commercial flooring installations
Help prepare job sites and subfloors
Load, unload, and transport materials and tools
Assist with demolition and removal of existing flooring
Learn installation techniques for vinyl plank, laminate, carpet tile, and other flooring products
Maintain clean and safe work areas
Work alongside experienced installers and receive on-the-job training

What We’re Looking For

Reliable and punctual
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Physically capable of lifting and working on your feet
Able to work well in a team environment
Construction or labour experience is an asset but not required
Valid driver’s license is an asset
