Entry-Level Floor Layer / Flooring Installer Trainee

Floor It BC is looking for a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Floor Layer / Installer Trainee to join our growing team in Campbell River.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in learning a skilled trade within the flooring and construction industry. No formal flooring experience is required — we are willing to train the right person.

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with residential and commercial flooring installations
• Help prepare job sites and subfloors
• Load, unload, and transport materials and tools
• Assist with demolition and removal of existing flooring
• Learn installation techniques for vinyl plank, laminate, carpet tile, and other flooring products
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Work alongside experienced installers and receive on-the-job training

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable and punctual
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Physically capable of lifting and working on your feet
• Able to work well in a team environment
• Construction or labour experience is an asset but not required
• Valid driver’s license is an asset
